Accommodation

All diving and marine conservation volunteers will stay in Suwat’s modern home which is located just on the outskirts of Ao Nang town, pictured in some of the graphics on this site. It is a large house with four shared sleeping rooms. Bunk beds and clean bedding are provided along with hot / cold water showers and toilet facilities.

Meals are prepared by Sao and eaten communally in the spacious recreation room or on the veranda.

People with their own laptop computers have access to the internet via the house facilities.

Almost anything you require is sorted for you. As a visitor to the area and a volunteer, there is often other things you have to worry about, such as booking your flights here, either through a travel agent or comparison site similar to Fly.com (http://www.fly.com/) and vaccinations etc. Therefore it is great to know that we will look after you once you are here, as a way of saying thank you to you for your work.

The house is situated approximately 7 kilometers from Ao Nang beach and town. The Project offers a motorbike taxi service (100 Baht -one way to town) and some volunteers hire their own motorbikes to travel about. For your own interest you should have a motorbike driving license and adequate insurance.
